Empowered Women Rising Trust Association was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time marked by uncertainty and economic hardship. A small group of women came together with the shared purpose of supporting one another by intentionally buying and promoting products and services offered within the group.

As trust grew the initiative expanded to include women from the wider community. Meetings were well received and consistently attended, confirming the need for a safe and supportive platform for women to connect, share ideas and grow together.

Although the intiative was pioneered by five women, the journey-like many community efforts-came with challenges. Over time, two founding members remained steadfast and continued to carry the vision forward. Following an unsuccessful first registration attempt, the association succeeded on the second attempt and was assigned a new name, leading to rebrand from Women Empowering Women (W.E.W) to Empowered Women Rising Trust Association.

Today, EWRTA stands as a testament to resilience, perseverance, and the power of women rising together.
